Hallo zusammen,
unter http://eq-mod.sourceforge.net ist eine Modifikation der Handsteuerung beschrieben, um eine direkte Steuerung der Montierung über den PC per EQMOD/ASCOM zu erreichen. Ersatzweise ist der Einsatz der Shoestring-Schnittstelle möglich (habe ich bis jetzt eingesetzt).
Mit der neuen Firmware-Version V3.21 für die Montierung ist weder einen Modifikation noch die Shoestring-Schnittstelle nötig. Die neue Funktion "PC Direct Mode" ermöglicht eine direkte Steuerung.
Auszug aus den Release Notes:
2. "PC Direct Mode" added. It allolws the PC to communicate directly with the motor controller via RS-232C connection. The RS-232C port of the PC should be configed as 9600bps, 1 start bit, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity check and no flow control. Activate "PC Direct Mode" under "Utility\PC Direct Mode>". Press the "ESC" key to exit. The 4 direction buttons and rate controlling function operate as usual under this mode.
This feature is also designed for future applications.
Von wegen "future applications", klappt prima mit EQMOD.

Altes Schrammel-Notebook mit Guide 8, Guidemaster mit Webcam und Shoestring-Schnittstelle für Autoguider-Ansteuerung, Steuerung per EQMOD ASCOM-Treiber, Thrustmaster Handpad Firestorm Analog 3 (kostet 9,90€) zur Handsteuerung, Verbindung Notebook<->Montierung über die originale Handsteuerung mit der neuen Firmware. Altes GPS-Modul, weil EQMOD GPS-Informationen nutzen kann (Ort, Uhrzeit)
