Zitat:
To whom it might concern
ONERA and DEGREANE companies just got a contract from the french
government to retrofit the GRAVES radar system, which system many of us
are using to observe meteors.
The radar started to run in 2005 and needs to be modernized to continue
to fulfil its space surveillance mission. The present refurbishing that
is important for avoiding any obsolescence issues should last 5 years,
the goal being to have an operationnal radar till 2025/2030.
The system should remain operational during this 5 years refurbishing,
with "minor disturbances" expected.
