In fact I had to wait over 3 years to finally get a result like this, as all of my earlier opportunities to capture a favorable shuttle pass were destroyed by clouds or bad lighting. That it succeeded yet before the shuttle retirement is a relief for my archive! In fact you can see a sign of the MPLM in the Payload Bay, at least the forward edge of it. While I was tracking the telescope with one eye, I watched with the other eye along the tube, to enjoy the beautiful tandem, the shuttle was making part out of! 10 inch Newtonian, manually tracked.
