That will conclude the Artemis I mission, the first in a series that will culminate in returning astronauts to the moon later in the decade. But it's not the only moon-related mission on Sunday. ispace, a Japanese company that wants to build commercial moon landers, also launched a lunar lander on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Florida toward the moon overnight.
