A new meteor shower may appear in night skies.

In 1995, Comet 73P/Schwassmann-Wachmann 3 shed numerous fragments as it orbited the sun. Astronomers think the resulting debris field could create a new meteor shower, the Tau Herculids. Some forecasts say it could be uncommonly active. Others say it may be a dud. We'll have to wait until this evening to found out.
