Boeing plans to launch a test flight of its troubled Starliner capsule.

NASA picked two companies to build new spacecraft to carry astronauts to the space station. One, SpaceX, has already transported crews to orbit multiple times. The other, Boeing, has experienced multiple problems with its spacecraft, Starliner, that have prevented flights with astronauts aboard. It plans to attempt a second uncrewed orbital test trip to the space station before scheduling its first astronaut flight. We will provide a precise launch date when one becomes available.
