China could launch three astronauts to its new space station

In April, China launched the core module of Tiangong or "Heavenly Palace," its new space station. Construction of the outpost will not be completed until 2022, and three astronauts from the country's space program will head to orbit to work on building it on Thursday (it will be Wednesday night in the United States).
