Hallo Michael,

wenn die das verlinkte Bild meinst, dort sehe ich das Halo noch ganz gut, selbst bei Schreibtischbeleuchtung.

Hallo Uwe,

in der Yahoo-Comets Mailing List ist auch eine Sichtung des äußeren Halos mit einm 12-Zöller bei 50x zu lesen. Außerdem hat ihn Piotr Guzik mit einem 10x50 gesehen. Er schreibt hier:

<font color="yellow">10x50 binoculars revealed oval cloud 2' in diameter embedded in ~10'
coma surrounded by easily visible ~20' outer halo.
In 20.3cm (37x) telescope the comet was stunning. Faint round outer
halo 18' in diameter surrounded round 8' inner coma which contained
bright stellar nucleus at m2 = 9.4 mag and bright elliptical "cloud"
2'x1.5' in PA~220 deg.</font id="yellow">
