  • Funktioniert DSLR-Focus und EOS350D ?

    Hallo,


    spielt das bekannte Programm DSLR-Focus mit der Canon EOS350D zusammen?
    Auf der Bestellseite des Programms steht ganz groß:


    There is currently NO 350D or RebelXT support for camera control. You can control exposures with Serial or parallel port, and you can focus using folder monitor mode only.


    Woanders steht das die 350D-Unterstützung (und auch 20D) im Beta-Stadium ist und einiges schon geht.


    Kann da ev. ein Benutzer von DSLR-Focus mit EOS350D etwas dazu sagen?
    Welche Funktionen gehen denn schon bzw. welche noch nicht?
    Lohnt es sich für EOS350D-Benutzer überhaupt, das Programm schon anzuschaffen?


    Es wäre nett wenn da jemand etwas dazu sagen könnte,

    Kleiner Nachtrag: Der Programmautor schreibt (am 11.09.2005):


    Hello All,


    After some very late nights (some of which were clear sky... Grrrr)
    Testing of new code to support 350D is going very well. I will be
    merging the new code into the software over the next 5 days/nights and
    plan on sending copies to a very small group of alpha testers sometime
    this weekend.


    If all goes well I will release a new version with full 350D support on
    any OS (Win98, Win2000, XP SP1 , XP SP2) within 2 weeks.


    This new code also will form the code base for 20D users. Its faster
    and more stable PLUS I have worked out how to support mirror lockup in
    focus mode and short image capture mode.... More details to follow...
