Hello Ocal,
I own a Vixen VMC200L, a Maksutov Cassegrain design (I also stumbled upon the name Klefzov Cassegrain). So far I use a Howie Glatter laser collimation tool as well as Chashire collimator which is actually less comfortable (in terms of ease of use) as I wished. Also the results with the holographic rings do not really please me. In the end I always do a final collimation at a star, which, in winter time, is a real pain (due to temperature and my patience when freezing )
My Questions:
1. Is collimation of the mentioned telsescope any different form a that of a "ordinary" Schmidt Cassegrain?
2. As you seem use a Ocal collimation System, do you also consider an axial displacement of Focuser, Secondary and Primary mirrors? If so, how: How do you distinguish between top-/tilt adjustment need from linear adjustment need?
Kind regards
Carsten
