Eigentlich diskutieren wir hier einen Anwendungs- bzw. Bedienungsfehler.
Die maximale AP am Teleskop wird mit 6-8mm angegeben und Blendungen sind zum einen durch anpassen der AP, durch Nutzung eines Binokulars, oder mit ND-Filter zu vermeiden.
Nach dem hier diskutierten Strahlenoptik Modell mit Auflösungsverlust, müsste man ja Kontrast und Auflösung über die Iris-Adaption steuern können. Hat das überhaupt schon mal jemand beobachtet, müsste ja sichtbar sein?
Demnach könnte man bei zu großer AP, einen unsichtbaren Doppelstern, durch Anpassung der Iris dann trennen können, ebenso der Kontrast?
Hier noch was zur Wellenoptik, Abbildung 219.

Die Beugungs- bzw. Wellenoptik erscheint für mich jedenfalls eine konsistente Erklärung abzuliefern.
Vielleicht habe aber auch ich etwas entscheidendes übersehen?
