Bei der D7100 hat man lediglich die Wahl, das RAW-Format(NEF) zu komprimieren oder es als Original zu speichern. Die Wortwahl "verlustfrei komprimiert" ist ein wenig unglücklich gewählt, da jede Kompression ein Datenverlußt darstellt.
RAW-Format ist RAW-Format - auch bei Nikon, auch wenn sie es als NEF bezeichnen.
