Hi Tal,
I visited Volkssternwarte München and I was very impressed. I plan to get a family membership.
By the way, what equipment you have?
I have another question for the München astronomers: who is planning to view/record the ISS transit over moon that will take place on 6th of april , 13:54:52 in West München ?!?
I will try to get an extra hour meal break to try to record few frames.
location is here: https://www.google.com/maps/pl…3d48.1375847!4d11.4083429
Another question: I was expecting ISS to be luminated, why in Stellarium is not ??
Cheers

Meanwhile I start performing test with my raspberry pi and HD camera (IMX477) for "all sky" application.
Foggy weather and strong light pollution next to the hotel. 2 pictures, JPG generated by "cameralib" and jpeg after passing the DNG through pixinsight for a fair histogram correction.
Visually only one star was visible

Thank you very much for your answers.
I will check the Volkssternwarte München website, and your contact Ben.
Tschüss

Hi ,
I am Andrei, and I recently moved to München.
I am a beginner astronomer with some modest results until now: https://www.astrobin.com/users/MrSpace/
I brought with me my small astrophoto gear, but I am too afraid to get out alone, and is also boring.
There are any astro clubs, star parties, in München ?
Google returned me all the professional observatories.. I am not at that level yet
Thank you
Andrei
PS sorry for writing ins English, I will take me some time to get used to German language.
