My wife have leukemia.

Well, thats opportunity very few people in whole history of eyepieces making experienced.
Its very probably none of now days living people ever saw that amazing eyepiece.
Its approx 100 years old, and optics is in absolutely like NEW condition!
Optics due that aging, usually have optical delaminations like cement issues, fungus, chipped lens edges, or scratches, but that eyepiece optics, is free of any of these delaminations in FOV!
Optical performance is SUPERIOR to optical performance of any other Carl Zeiss Monocentric, or other brand monocentrics, or ZAOs, and seems that one, is jewel like never seen in optical industry!
Mechanics have some traces of gentile usage, as expected!
Now dont ask me why price is so high.
Zeiss monocentrics can be found every year for sale, with excellent optics, for some 1400 USD.
Count also that 21mm TMB Supermonocentric were more expenisve than shorter focal lenghts, right?
25mm is most collecor desirable, with best optics Ziess ever made in all line which passed through my hands, and I had Zeiss Monos 6mm, 10mm, and 16mm, and all other brands Monos etc.
25mm is also suitable not only for collectors, but also for most demanding observers, and it provide image you can only imagine-yes, I tested it vs my other Ziess and other 25mm Orthos etc, and it easily, noticable beats them all in every optical aspect.
Its also very easy to add any magnification to it with barlows, Poweramtes etc, so you can enjoy in wide range of magnifications with only one eyepeice, and superb picture quality!
