China could launch the Wentian module of its Tiangong space station.

<html-blob>Astronauts from China have been living and working aboard Tianhe, the first module of the country’s Tiangong space station, since last year. In 2022, China has scheduled the launch of two laboratory sections to complete the orbital outpost -- first Wentian, then Mengtian. Each module will be sent on the Long March 5B, China’s most powerful rocket. It’s the one that caused alarm in 2021 when its booster section completed an out-of-control reentry into Earth’s atmosphere. Chinese state media has suggested a launch date during a window from July 22-25; we will provide a more precise date once it becomes available.
