A crew of NASA and European astronauts will return to Earth in a SpaceX capsule

The Crew-3 mission arrived at the International Space Station in November 2021 for an eventful stay that included spacewalks, visits from space tourists, a risky Russian anti-satellite weapon test and the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The astronauts -- three from NASA and one from Germany -- are scheduled to undock from the outpost just after 1 a.m. Eastern time on Thursday in a SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule, then orbit the Earth ahead of a splashdown off the Florida coast not long after midnight on Friday. You can follow the undocking and splashdown on NASA TV, and learn more about how busy the I.S.S. has been recently here: https://nyti.ms/3vGfnUs
